3D Scanning Facility
ENCO are happy to launch our new 3D laser scanning service to the design and manufacture engineering markets. ENCO’s Faro machine offers incredibly accurate measurements both indoors and outdoors for the mechanical engineering and construction industries. We can capture real world information then digitally manipulate using specialist software to execute and deliver the highest quality design projects, ranging from large commercial projects to single plant rooms.
The new equipment offers excellent range and accuracy using advanced sensor technology, we offer high resolution scanning and rescanning features to perform accurate target detection and capture areas of interest in great detail for the end user.
The unit is compact and portable, allowing ENCO to use it in restricted and confined spaces, with onsite compensation functionality ensuring high quality scan data and fully traceable documentation.
Our design team will align with your project at the initial start phase, scanning the area and transporting the information into usable data and drawings, this then allows the designers and engineers or site managers to arrange layouts of equipment with incredible accuracy. This also allows off site manufacture to be confidently undertaken in the knowledge it will fit in to place when delivered.
This new facility allows ENCO to be a fully integrated turnkey provider for the mechanical installation industry, from initial site survey, scanning, design, fabrication, installation, project management and delivery.
This new equipment is part of the PAPI project, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Program 2014-2020, in partnership with the Northern Powerhouse, and delivered by the University of York.
