ENCO’s 2021 New Recruits and Infrastructure Investment

Due to ENCO’s continued growth and controlled expansion in 2021, we welcomed an influx of new recruits across several areas of the business. This strengthened our position within the industry and to help aid us to move forward as we introduce new skills and fresh experiences to our work force.

We Are Proud to Announce Promotions Within the Business

2021 saw two of our current team members expand their roles within the ENCO team and become Directors for the company.

Tom Belfield started with ENCO in 2011 just after finishing his apprenticeship locally, he has now been with ENCO 11 years, during that time Tom has grown within the company holding positions as a welder, fitter, site supervisor, project manager, and now project director. Tom uses his knowledge of the tools and the industry to manage large-scale projects that involve our biggest UK and European-based customers.

Nichola Hull has been with ENCO since 2017 and has been managing all aspects of Finance, HR and Quality and Environmental Management Systems to ensure compliance with all regulations such as ISO certifications. In 2021 Nichola’s efforts were rewarded with the new role of Finance and HR Director.

We Welcomed New Team Members Throughout the Year

Matt Britton joined ENCO in early 2021 as General Manager having spent the last 20 years holding commercial / technical management positions within the aerospace & IGT (industrial Gas turbine) engine manufacturing environment. Matt’s experience of managing large multi-disciplined teams within a Blue-chip environment as well as a process-driven engineering background fits well within the mechanical installations sector.

The projects team welcomed Joe Taylor as Project Manager, Joe brings with him a background in engineering and mechanical knowledge as well as a methodical approach to mechanical problem solving that fits well within our team. Joe reports directly to our Project Director Tom Belfield.

In August 2021 we introduced John Davies, Stores Manager to the team. John compliments the shop floor activities with his wealth of knowledge within the welding environment having spent the last 30 years as a multi coded Class 1 welder in both MIG and TIG along with MMA, sub merged arc.

The Business Continues to Grow in 2022

March 2022 will see John Hanson move to his new position as Quality Assurance Manager / Fabrication estimator. John has worked for ENCO for 6 years and is always developing his already significant skills. 2021 saw John complete his qualification for QA & Weld Inspector in anticipation of the change in role.
