Enco Rejoins Made in Yorkshire

We’re proud to share that Enco has rejoined the Made in Yorkshire network!

Founded just over 15 years ago and based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, we’ve grown from a small local contractor into a nationwide provider of mechanical installations, fabrication and in-house design solutions. Today, we support clients across sectors including wastewater treatment, refrigeration, and chemical processing, helping them operate efficiently, safely and sustainably.

At Enco, our goal is simple: to be a turnkey engineering provider that delivers the highest standards of quality and service, from initial design right through to installation. In recent years, we’ve invested heavily in expanding our capabilities — establishing a dedicated in-house design department with advanced 3D scanning technology, and more recently achieving ISO 45001 accreditation, the internationally recognised standard for occupational health and safety.

“Within the manufacturing sector we deliver high-quality mechanical installations, fabrication, in-house design and much more, helping our clients across the country operate efficiently and safely. Enco also takes pride in investing in the development of the next generation of engineers through apprenticeships and training.”

Developing talent has always been at the heart of our business. Working closely with Kirklees College, we’ve created a specialist pipefitting and welding apprenticeship pathway, giving young people the opportunity to develop high-value, hands-on skills that are in short supply across the industry. As Jamie explains, “We believe it’s crucial to give apprentices the opportunity to learn, grow and shape the future of our industry.”

We’re proud to have built a close-knit, loyal team of over 100 people — many of whom joined us as apprentices and have grown with the company. Our culture is built on collaboration, trust and shared purpose: values that have shaped who we are today and how we work with our partners.

Rejoining Made in Yorkshire felt like a natural and meaningful step for us. The network brings together manufacturers who share our values — practical, people-focused, and proud of what they make. For us, it’s a chance to connect with others who are just as committed to quality, skills and keeping British engineering at the forefront.

“We’re proud to be part of Made in Yorkshire once again. We’re passionate about showcasing the strength of UK manufacturing and contributing to the success of the manufacturing community. Being a member helps us connect and collaborate with like-minded manufacturers across the region, sharing knowledge and best practice.”

Jamie Moody, Managing Director

As we continue to grow, our focus remains on combining innovation with integrity, while staying true to our Yorkshire roots and the values that built our success — work ethic, craftsmanship, and community.

We’re looking forward to connecting with fellow members, sharing ideas and working together to strengthen manufacturing across the region!
